Duurrrr, guys. The easier solution is that every end user should perform some action over and over, to fix the problem that a service is causing for them.

That's how my bank does it.

(EDIT: I have also eaten a pizza.)

Its Valve's problem not voogru's problem and he has told them over and over. Its not just these servers but any server with custom content.

You're pretty rude aren't you sobe? If you bothered to use your eyeballs and READ you would have seen that I have already tried your super-magical-fix-all-restart advice, and OH SHOCKER! It didn't work! Listen closely now!

1- I have started steam, then TF2, then joined voogru server, then restarted TF2 then joined another server: DOESNT WORK
2- I have started steam, then TF2, then joined voogru, then restarted steam AND TF2, then joined another server: DOESN'T WORK
3- I have started steam, then TF2, then joined voogru, then turned the game off, came back on a separate day and joined a different server: DOESN'T WORK
4- I have started steam, then TF2, then joined voogru, then left voogru, then alt-tabbed, then deleted the "bunnyears" folder, then alt-tabbed back, then joined another server: DOESNT WORK
5- I have started steam, then TF2, then joined voogru, then quit TF2, then deleted "bunnyears", then started TF2 again, then join another server: and IT WORKS

suck it sobe :P

Let me tell you all what solution worked, I made a batch file that deletes the folder when I just click on it, thanks to the advice of an intelligent and helpful person (sorry, sobe NOT YOU) named G2. So I just click on this before I start TF2 and I just make sure that I don't play on voogru unless I'm willing to quit afterwards. Thanks everyone who was kind and helpful and really tried to help me.

Okay before this thread degenerates into an ugly shouting match, let me throw my $0.02 into the ring.

This is a recognized problem, its been brought up several times on the forums. Bottom line is I also find it pretty irritating especially when i'm hopping around servers testing new maps. And Ive had several previous users tell me they dont pop in to the servers anymore cause of the pain in the arse of having to restart delete files etc.

while i dont know the details of why the problem occurs, voogru assures me that he has contacted valve regarding the problem and they have not seen fit to fix it on thier end as of yet.

If voog can find a way to work around it from our end that would be cool but as I say i dont know how much work that would involve or if its even possible.

either way letting any thread degenerate into a pissing contest is a sure fire way to get the thread locked and subtract any credability from the original question.
