| | Kangaroon Hat for Sniper With the help of jubba, I'm in the process of finishing a hat for the sniper. I'm new with the programs (3DS max and zBrush), so keep the insults to a minimum.
Edit: lol I just realized when I submitted the thread I spelled Kangaroo as "Kangaroon." |

| | Re: Kangaroon Hat for Sniper lol I was actually thinking about putting a croc on top of the sniper (I was also considering a dingo), but I questioned myself and asked would the sniper put half a crocodile on his head? |

| | Re: Kangaroon Hat for Sniper Rogue,
No offense, but the first thing I thought of was "hey, that is a native american wearing a wolf head". Maybe I haven't seen enough kangaroo heads to know that their ears are indeed that much larger than wolf ears.
It does look sharp, though, good stuff. |

| | Re: Kangaroon Hat for Sniper I'm actually not quite sure if he would put a croc on his head now that I think about it, but I guess a kangaroo helps to fit with his australian heritage better than a crocodile does. |

| | Re: Kangaroon Hat for Sniper the polygons in the back look stretched which would probably be awkward when you render /texture it. maybe put more polygons in the back with an insert edge loop (on maya)

Homeless is right, the back needs some work. It's a really messy mesh anyhow. |

| | Re: Kangaroon Hat for Sniper Okay, after some more editing (mainly small details), I have this:
As you may have noticed, theres some weird looking spike/shard thing on the side of the hat. Can anyone who uses 3ds max or zBrush tell me what I can do to delete that thing? I've tried using all the brushes in zBrush, but to no avail. And I've tried using edit mesh to delete that thing, but still nothing. Like anyone know what tool can delete it? Thanks.
On the other hand, this is a pretty good version of what I want the sides to look like. And, I know this looks like some kind of wolf, but if you think abotu it, a kangaroo thats like grey or something and is angry would look like a wolf (kinda I think):
I think by the time I color it and add the nose, it'll look more like a kangaroo. | |
