Yup I agree Schiz, quite a few times I've had medics dominating me cuz they're stuck up someone's ass and nothing more ;x I'm just saying from a general unbiased to or against domination view. I play for the fun mostly but the way some people play it doesn't seem like it's for fun sometimes, just the easiest kills and wins ;p

Medic's getting dominations is more a way of letting the Medic know he is doing his job. If you've assisted in the death in someone x amount of times you are doing what you are supposed to. The only time this doesn't apply is when you are playing a medic at the back of the line and people are running back to you to be healed. What would make the system better is allowing the medic to see the visual indicators above a persons head if they are dominating (nemesis) the person he/she is healing. In most cases its a good indicator to uber or try to get the person to hold back a little but without the knowledge the healee and healer both get killed in the process. A small thing like that would improve the entire domination/nemesis system a bit.

For example say you are healing a Heavy and upon healing him you see a Sniper in the distance who has an indicator that he is dominating that Heavy. There is a large chance that the sniper is going to target that heavy or you since you are keeping his target alive. I know I'd like to have something like that. It would be a small improvement but useful.

For me personally i HATE to be on the team steam rolling another team. on the flipside I HATE to be on the team getting steamrolled.

I love the epic battles. Holding off a great team or beating a clearly evenly matched team. Its just way more fun.

I use to join the game, go spec and see what team needs the help most, be it regs stacking or whatever, just who needs the help most. Now that spec is gone its harder for me to judge this so I do end up having to go with the team with less reg/V s on it.

I really do hope there is something the mods can work out. Its really frustrating to say the least.

I think the stacking issue is sorting itself out, since this thread started I think people are doing a lot more random team select and personally I'm getting a kick out of fighting the stacks. BTW lah you are a way better demo than me already! but you plus uuultra as your medic is fuckin insane. However just wait till Gemini gets a mic, then you are fucked!!

Meh, i always join teams using the random option without looking at whos on what team. If i'm against the stack, it's fun playing against friends, if im with the stack its fun playing with them, i say its not that much of an issue, and i know quite a lot of other voogru regulars who go random too.

Bleh. Debating on finding a new server or a new game. Tired of playing the same stacked team night after night. It's only fun for the first 2-3 maps. After that. Time to just head to bed early. Maybe its just crazy house.

I stayed as long as I could stand on that team beatnik...but after noone would listen or even attempt to work together or cover the engs whose lv3 SG just got solo'd for the umpteenth time by an un-ubered sniper/pyro(didn't even take 'em soldiers or demos) I said fuck it and switched with a Subscriber feature. No teamwork of any sort = no fun = no thanks.

Outside of Clan scrims/matches you ain't gonna find much more fairness...any other server will have the same thing but far worse being random pugs. It's sadly human nature, win at all costs. Alot more people have been using Random to join lately around here at least, and as has been said plenty of times before, Stacks lose plenty often.

is there a way to incorporate that 'team scramble' thing from arena if one team is blowing the other one away?

Yes, Random for me most times. And I also have been on plenty of stacked teams (even after using random) and lost.

The stack doesn't guarantee victory...I have seen it lose a lot. I would not like to be forced into a random arena type team.

I try to use the auto feature for choosing a team and I see a lot of the regulars doing the same thing. I did it last night and ended up on a team with lots of chatter/mic spamming and no teamwork. Of course, the other team just rolled over us and I finally took off for the 24 man server. Only one other person was playing and I dominated him until I got bored then took off for some other servers.

Yes, it's true that stacking doesn't guarantee wins, but I've seen it far more many times where the stack relentlessly steamrolls again and again. For the umpteenth time, I implore all of you to HIT THE RANDOM BUTTON and stop seeking out your favorite demo, pocket medic, etc. and play!

I think I know which stacked team you all are talking about. There's a handful of players I can name who just can't live without being on the same team. They've been doing that a lot lately on Crazy House. I'm keeping a lookout for the usual suspects who like to spec-then-switch. If I have to be the No-Spec fascist, so be it.

We hate to lose good players because because they have to deal with dominating stacks every time they log on.

A little sad since our community prides itself on fairness & sportsmanship. Here's to those of us who still play for those reasons and not for the e-peen.

The one thing that bugs me the most isn't so much the initial team stacking as it is the players who continuously, as Schiz mentioned, join the opposing team, then switch over on their own to join the winning team.
