Hi, I'm the RavinReverend. I am so good that team stacking doesn't apply to me for the simple fact that I am the reason a team wins or fails. I crap victory and piss excellence. I can understand how the common folk feel that the tides are against them, I have only myself to blame for this matter. To be the bigger person, I will start playing Team Fortress 2 while in a wheelchair. Good luck and happy gaming to the voogru community.

Just a little FYI - going spec to switch teams is a big no-no. In fact, going spec for anything other than recording a demo of a suspected cheater is bad (admins excluded of course). If you're not in the mood for a server vacation, I'd highly recommend against doing this in the future.

This little act by a certain reg is what got me going on my earlier rant. He got autobalanced, spectated, then went back to his winning/bff team instead of trying to help us out. On my shit list for the time being.

It is very annoying. People will be taking a break for a day or two if caught

I don't mean to challenge the voogru staff on this but I have a small question.

We have subscribers and donators who are immune to the auto balance ingame. We have subscribers who can do a force team switch so that they can be on whatever team they wish even if the other team is full which also causes a non subscriber to be switched to the other team.

And now if you aren't a subscriber or a donator and you go spec in order to get on the team you would rather play then you get temp banned?

I love this place and respect the staff but that hardly makes sense to me. Basically if you don't pay 10 dollars yet you enjoy playing with your friends you -might- get temp banned for attempting to keep playing with your friends. Mind you I'm a subscriber and don't have to worry about this but I have friends who come play with me sometimes and I wouldn't want them to get banned because they wanted to play on my team and not with 14 other people they didn't know.

If we are going to punish people for trying to play on the team they want then why bother giving anyone the chance to choose a team to begin with?

If you want my honest opinion, I don't think anyone should have team swapping capability. However, since I don't make those kinds of decisions, here we are. Since it is a "perk" and part of what you're paying for, there's obviously going to be no enforcement there. The “going spectator to do anything but record cheaters” rule has been around for years though, and while we were overlooking it for awhile (it wasn't as rampant even a month ago as it is now), that's no longer the case.

If you have friends who want to play on the same team as you - fine - let them attempt to join your team. But if they don’t succeed, it's not an excuse for them to go spec and force a balance in order to go to the opposite team. Again, as mentioned before, going spec for any reason is something you generally shouldn't do anyway, so on that basis alone, this behavior is not good.

I agree. It's awfully hypocritical for you to say, "Come play with your friends on Voogru servers!" and then temp-ban those that...well...attempt to do just that. Granted I don't really play on the servers much anymore, but when I did, it was to play with those I know and care for...not a bunch of strangers.
