Hey all,

Subscribers have the ability to use the "swapteams" command, I put this in to allow players the ability to change teams even if the other team is full. It usually accomplishes this by taking a player from the other team and putting them in his place.

It's currently limited to once an hour, but I've been getting some requests to increase the delay between swap teams, and some requests to outright remove the feature.

So I'm going to let everyone here decide what to do.

1. Keep it as is.
2. Restrict it to once every 3 hours.
3. Remove it completely.

I haven't been playing much lately but I think if people subscribe, its a nice perk for them. Alternatively every hour seemed a little much. 3 hours seems like a reasonable amount.

Every three hours seems sufficient. Getting rid of it is too much.

I'd be biased and say remove it since 90% im the unlucky sonofab*tch who gets switched. But if it is removed it just kinda limits the perks of even being a sub in the first place. Id say 3 hours is perfect.

Remove it. Most of the people who play here will wait to get on the team they want regardless if they have the command or not. All it serves is a way for a subscriber to join the stack if his/her e-peen is hurt. Would be great if more people used it to even the teams. But then the team getting rolled usually has a slot open anyway. Combine that with an admin scrambling the teams and the command makes even less sense. Admin scrambles, subs use the command teams go back to how they were (or close to it).

Also it is a huge pain in the ass for those of us who random every game (and for once happen to be winning) to have the one good engineer/medic get moved to the other team just so some idiot can come on the winning team to play sniper.

u definetly need to keep it as it is because since theres no more team scramble in dodgeball anymore, teams can be awfully unbalanced and when the teams have the same number of people, sometimes a subscriber might be kind enough to swap teams to even it out (i know this is meant for the regular voogru servers, but this decision would also affect dodgeball).

ok fine not that many subscribers play dodgeball but it happens. but yeah the no team scamble can get annoying.

One of the reasons I became a subscriber was because I would join the server and auto assign just to be team switched by someone who didn't want to be on the losing team. I just think it is an annoying feature that while it does have some benefits ( i.e. being on the same team as friends), the drawbacks are screwing someone else over and the ability to stack teams for subscribers.

I'm going to look into the dodgeball scramble separately. I think it's related to arena.

As a subscriber I like having the option, though I have only used it a few times.

Does it get abused that often or is the problem people complaining about being switched when someone else does it? If that is the case then why would it be any different than complaints about being kicked for a reserved slot?

I see no reason why it can't be increased to 3 hours though.

Voog, what will you do if option 3 has more votes than 1 or 2, but not more than 1 and 2 combined? Seems like we need a keep it or pitch it poll. Then if it is kept a should we change it to 3 hours poll.

I think its (sometimes) great that 100% of the time you take new issues and try to shed light on both or on many of encompassing sides, while other may disagree. But this SPECIFICALLY this one made me scratch my head and ask myself "Does this guy breathe through a tube?"

I'm a subscriber.. well at least I was for a while when I had time to play a lot more often. I've never used the command that I can remember. I almost always random when I join the server, and I hate when people stack. I've only seen the command used to switch to a "better" team, so I don't like it. And, if your excuse is "I wanna play with my friends!" well... I have to say that you need to make some more friends. You're playing with your "RL friends" even when you're playing against them.. get over it.
