ah man love'em. Played with them all night. At least when there's a stack going on I have something to do, mix and match hats with various classes lol

I've found there are a few hats that don't seem to be able to cross the "unrestricted" use of classes. Some of them are like the Viking Hat and the Tin-pot hat the soldier use, when placed on other classes, they just seem to show up hatless.

Was this planned this way or did I stumble onto something?

Btw the scout bunny ears, camera beard is priceless

I was wondering if there is a way to add a command to show what hat you have on. Some of the ones I have used random colors on have come out pretty cool and would love to be able to duplicate them.

Green top_hat engi looked like a leprechaun.

Voogru,

Last night I tried to play on a different server and was blocked because I had bunny ears in the tf2 files (the notes in the console indicated materials, tfadmin, models, something as the problem - can't remember the exact order). I tried a couple of other servers and kept getting the same thing. I tried removing the files while in alt-tab and still was blocked. Both servers were in my recently played tab so I had been able to play on them previously. Is the new hats setup causing some sort of conflict?

And before anyone says it, yes maybe this is an omen that I shouldn't be playing on other servers but I like the occasional variety.

Heck of a job once again Voogru! You make your server one of the best, if not the best to play on.. Except when your a heavy with 100% hp on hit... LOL ownage!!!

I think he already answered this, but if you close the game then relaunch and join another server you won't have any problems

I have some hat models and such I've off other models I ported for gmod, like Batman: Arkham Asylum batman mask, Joker hair, Luigi hat, some of them don't fit pyro but I can get them to fit by adjusting them onto a skeleton for an existing hat:
here is what the luigi hat looks like on pyro,
If anyone is interested in using some of these for the dodgeball servers let me know
