I cannot connect on a full server anymore

It had been working up until a couple of days ago. I've had to connect through the console, but now I get a message about subscribing. My other subscriber benefits are working though. Thanks for any help you can offer.

I have been having the same issue for some time as well. I don't get kicked, just can't join when full.

Guild are you connecting through the console or trying to join through the server browser? I no longer see the fake player count that allowed me to connect through the server browser but assumed it was moved to a subscriber only feature since my reserved slot only works through the console.

No the feature was removed completely because I don't want to mess with the query code anymore.

You have to use the connect command, I am trying to get valve to put a force connect option.

To this day I can not understand why Valve hasn't done that. I've been wanting that for years.

Sorry, I'm slow getting back. I connect using the Steam servers list that pops up after I start Steam. Didn't know there was another way.

So, how do I use the connect command?

open console, type "connect tf.voogru.net" without the quotes.

Cool. I've recently been typing connect with the IP number but, for some reason, that isn't working for me right now. Will try connect tf.voogru.net.
