| | Re: Post what you're thinking about right now... Hard to gather up peeps for some good ol' fashion mods like Zombie Panic Source... that and sometimes L4D2. Really need to get Pipski and two others to do some hardcore campaigns in L4D2.
If I were to choke a smurf, I'd ask it for its bank account number then demand where it lives so I could pillage it first then burn later... chose not to care about the color of a smurf being choked.

Maybe they're the people abducting instead of UFO's/little green men. |

| | Re: Post what you're thinking about right now... 18 kids. I'm sure this isn't the wife's idea.
So I'm proud of myself today because I successfully did some troubleshooting on my PC and got my daughter's new Cleopatra game to work. It was her birthday gift and I've been trying to get the dang thing to run for the past two hours. And I did it!
I've always been a mac person and I use the PC only for gaming. Having to do anything other than turn the thing on feels like I'm wandering into complete foreign territory where I don't speak the language. I'm afraid to change anything for fear the fickle thing will just stop functioning altogether. But there was an incompatibility with the version of Adobe FlashPlayer I had on there and I finally figured it out. Woot.
Next I think I'm going to learn French. |

I went to Montreal last week and hated the fact that I couldn't understand a word people were saying beyond Bon Jour.

I went to Montreal last week and hated the fact that I couldn't understand a word people were saying beyond Bon Jour. | You'll find once you learn French that the average person in Montreal doesn't even speak it. Some people call it Franglais, others who are proud of said butchery of a language call it Quebecoise!!!
I can't speak in comparison to other languages (although I'd love to pick up Spanish) but French is a pain to learn.
If you dont mind me asking, where abouts in MTL were you?

Kudos on the Latin, Cofl. That definitely sounds like a challenge. |

| | Re: Post what you're thinking about right now... Latin is certainly a long while challenge. :{ I failed my Latin class when I took it but the one thing I learned was... well. I found learning other European languages a tad bit easier and it's a tad bit amusing trying to pronounce Latin words.
Always good to step out of your comfort zone and do things that's either difficult yet fun or just plain amusingly frustrating. Which is in fact what I'm doing right now... with practicing modding Fallout 3 in order to mod Fallout New Vegas!!

| | Re: Post what you're thinking about right now... Hah! Funny post, frosti. Bah... for about 3 months I had to endure without ANY access to computers including phones... yes smart phones CAN be considered or regarded as miniature computers. Had to satisfy my boredom by driving all around the area and occasionally driving up and down from CA to WA. Whoopie! *cough* Not a fan of Halo except for the novels and the first.
