We now have some of our own L4D servers, due to the changes in matchmaking that valve has forced upon us, giving out their IP's is fairly meaningless.

But they are at:

74.54.216.54:27015
74.54.216.55:27015
74.54.216.56:27015

If you're a member of the voogru steam community, they will show up when you look for community servers.

The 24 player server was sacrificed to make room for these servers, as it was the least used server we had.

Right now the L4D servers are bone stock (without any of my plugins) and will remain so until valve releases some of the updated headers that will allow plugins to operate.

Did they disable us from connecting to the servers through console/connect ---> IP's?

I think it works if the servers not full.

RIP 24 man server, I had some good memories of picking crazy house over you ever single time......so anyway, you guys are really goin this crazy about L4D.....hmmm. I guess its a good thing im at school and CANT play anything on steam or it would just be more money spent on another game lol. Need to save my money.....for beer...

Any ideas why I can't see the voogru servers in my community servers list? I can see servers from other steam groups, just not the one I actually care to play on... and I'm getting tired of the matches with random people.

so yeh we took the l4d severs down a while ago, it was causing a bit of a drain on the cpu of the servers and affecting the TF2 servers up the wazoo.

bottom line theres no real incentive to run a dedicated l4d server atm given valves rather broken server joining code. I guess the quick answer is when they sort out getting the game you wanna play and make all the people happy then it might be worth offering some slots, until then, just practice not getting eaten by a zombie while you are bitching in chat to people you muppet.... btw i kinda miss your random bollocks in tf2, happy valentines day ya bugger!!

I've been in tf2 a bit recently pipski, you've just missed me, as you can see by my Last Played date ;x And yeah I'm cheap in this case...a purely multiplayer game with 8 person limit isn't worth $50 to me, so when it went on sale for $25, yeah I got it, lil more reasonable for what I'm getting ;p If it's $50 it better damn well have a long-ass storyline to go with it, not just "Hay there's a way to escape annd a bunch of zombies in our way, GO GO GO"
