Wow when I first P2P servers I didn't even think of all the fucked up modding thats gonna be going on in most of them. I really hope activision gets pissed off at people doing this so we can all lol at their faces.

I acquired the game, don't even care for the multiplayer, just the SP. I have to say....the story line is kinda piss poor. It makes me think of a Michael Bay movie, but it is just one continuous explosion or gunfight. There is nothing that seems to connect any of the events together.
Example, spoilers also below.
Airport Massacre....SUDDENLY THE RUSSIANS INVADE THE EAST COAST USA ALA RED DAWN!
Next: Lets go rescue Price who is locked up in a Gulag for no given reason, seriously, they don't even tell you why Price is in the Gulag and Soap is out and about, if they both survived the end of CoD4.
Next: HERE'S A BRIGHT IDEA, LET"S LAUNCH A NUCLEAR WEAPON AND BLOW IT UP OVER WASHINGTON DC, THAT WILL NEVER CAUSE ALL OTHER NATION'S "DEAD MAN TRIGGER" OR IMMEDIATE RETALIATION TO OCCUR.
In the end, like I said, MW is like one constant gunfight that doesn't end or explained why shit happens. At least CoD4 had explanation for most of the events.
Also I am compelled to compare MW2 with Halo 2's release Penny Arcade! - The Nightlife lol I didn't say "paid"  |

we got it the "first" time
Both COD4s ripped off movies pretty bad, especially Black Hawk Down. This ones pretty bitchin' tho. Snowmobiles, akimbo Glock 18s/Uzis, the sniper rifles with thermal sights, SHOTGUNS ON EVERYTHING, c'mon...
I don't really understand Russians running around with Augs, P90s, Streetsweepers, etc. and what they did to the AK to look it more "Americanized." Still more entertaining than the first. Call of Duty has always been easy ass mildly entertaining Singleplayer and shitty Multiplayer. Most of the Brothers in Arms games do a better job at Singleplayer though. |
