I bought it yesterday, oh good god, I forgot how addicting it was. Apparently I had spent 5 hours of time in the demo alone.

Weekend deal is Red Orchestra (with a new update just out) for $5.

The UT3 deal is also still going on for $12, and they're doing another free weekend (Starting in about an hour and a half, noon CDT) since last week didn't work out so well. (They let people preload it starting Monday this time)

Slightly off topic, but I can't believe Steam still has this HL2: DM freebie available if you have an ATI video card.

As a few of you know, my friend has a dedicated server and I play nearly every Friday night. All you have to do to redeem this is put steam on ANY pc that has an ATI video card and follow the link. It will add HL2: DM to your steam account for free.

lol, We even got like 3 or 4 accounts that guests at his house can use with this because we pulled old computers out of mothballs and registered an account with each one using 9600, 9800 and even an old All-in-wonder card.

It comes with Orange Box or HL2 but other than that, it's $5 now... So yes, it costs money.

Also, we tried registering it multiple times on the same system, even after ghosting it and no dice - I think they read the serial number when you register. But free is still free.

Oddworld Abe's Exoddus and Abe's Oddysee for $3.75 anyone played these?

There's also an Indie game sale going on, and it's the last day of the UT3 sale.

Oddworld was fun as hell on PS (or was it PS2?) I still have my game disks somewhere
I imagine this game would work amazingly well with a 360 controller on PC

I've always heard BG&E was great, but I got distracted and never got very far in my roommate's Xbox copy. Maybe I should give it another go.
