Edit: Also, I'm probably done posting in this thread for a while. If they come out with some new really cool new feature or I figure out some neat tricks or other tips, I may save them all up and post them here also.

Alright, so I was just gathering, and ran into a player opponent with the same number of charms as me, yet because I attacked first, I lost from exhaustion. How did the other person get to attack second, I feel like I'm always on the left and attack first in every battle I'm in.

What he ment to say is mentoring is maxed until level 10, thats when you can level all skills to level 2 ( I believe).

And it is random BB, cause I know that I sometimes attack first or defend, and sometimes I am in a group and sometimes fighting against group. Really does not matter imo, just get better attack charms

Also, just an fyi for people, just play around with your character and see how to play. More then likely you will need to reroll at a certain point because you messed up with point allocation (like me lol).

Time for an update with a few tricks and tips...

Remember earlier in this thread, I mentioned animal races? Well, here's the deal with that: Do it! It costs gold, but gives you real stat boosts. Also, do it as early as possible. I started on day 1 and do not regret it. The reasoning is simple, at 10g/lvl to enter the race, accomplishing these races early costs much less than at later levels.

Next tip: Try to get the 2 achievements for Recklessness and Spirituality. Again, much more easily accomplished at low than high levels.

For Spirituality, simply load a deck with 0 offensive items (make sure the deck is FULL of defense and support charms). Then, go to PvP and fight someone a level or 2 lower than you. They will become exhausted because they can't kill you before running out of charms and you will gain spirituality skill points. Grants an extra Spirit Point when completed!!!

For Recklessness, load a deck with all offensive (Support cards are allowed, but not a single armor or warding is allowed from the defense tab). Again, PvP some people and viola! You are building Recklessness as well.


So now what about PvP? Well, every time you win a PvP, you get soul dust. These items can be used to craft some of the best charms available (at least at lower levels so far). Soul items can be crafted in Inachis or Zeal and cost NOTHING.

Edit: Also, save your action points when in a non-PvP city. I mean, do the dungeon, but don't spend points Gathering unless you really need gold. I can't stress enough how good the crafted items are from soul dust compared to those you can purchase. Save the points for PvP fights in your next city.

Guilds: I had one of my characters that accidentally did not get apprenticed to X0rcist join a Guild (BotRH). I discovered you can donate gold and building materials to the guild to help create guild buildings... However, you are not allowed to donate until level 10! You can use your guild action point (not personal action points) to help with construction on the same timing cycle as moves. This can be completed from any location, at any level.

Well, this is my tips update for now, hope these help.

As answered by another player (I can't find the answer anywhere else):

"The (xx%p) is the percentage of damage that the charm does that is piercing. In other words, its the % of dmg that ignores whatever armor your opponent has up."

So assuming I understand this correctly, %P for Piercing and not for Power.
In your case here, you do 13 damage but your opponent has 20 Armor. You would do 1 point of damage plus reduce his armor by 12.

Pay attention when you replay your fights to the damage done and armor reductions applied to confirm this.

So basically Twinblade weapons bypass armor by the largest overall percentage. Small and agile - I'll poke you in the kidney!

You gain Heroism apparently if you go into dungeons that are 2+ levels higher then your own. Easiest way is to buy a bunch of defense items and have more cards then the npcs, then they get exhausted and you get easy points.

Quick update on the guild, I'm at 7k gold and level 15. Shouldn't be much longer.

Lol, I found out the other day that items that are not in your inventory, you lose. I lost a lot of items.
