Who else here has or plans on getting Savage 2?
I've been playing, and its brought me back to my NS nostalgia, and yes, It's very like NS.
The idea is its a mixed FPS and RTS. One player is a commander viewing the game like you would Command & Conquer, the rest are playing in First Person battling for resources and to kill the enemy stronghold.
Over the weekend it was $9.99, now its $19.99, and in my opinion, worth it.

I've tried Savage 1 before and it was pretty fun. I haven't really looked into savage 2 but before no one really wanted to play commander. I especially loved the gigantic mutant you could play. Do they still have it on S2? |

I have only played a couple matches, but it seems real fun (minus the fact that I always seem to join the wrong team at endgame when we are getting raped)
the graphics are 5x better than savage 1, everything looks awesome on high settings

I have definitely thought about buying S2. I liked the 1st one, and was in the beta for S2. I don't know if I have time to play. It's Summer and the crunch is already hitting me. My one big concern is there players actually playing the game? It's MP only, so without a decent amount of populated servers there is no game to play. |

All accounts ive heard from those who purchased it "It blows". This is from people coming to the game fresh and never touched savage 1 and from some of the most die hard savage 1 fans. Kinda sucks i was actually hoping it was going to be good. |

It reminds me of the NS days in a way, and I like that.

I played Savage 1 demo for a long time (lulz) and I played Savage a little after that then never played again. I would be willing to play Savage 2 if voogru gets behind it.  |

I do like team/class-based strategies and that game had some. I'm curious if Savage 2 will be any better but from briefly looking at it it doesn't seem much different. I would "try" the game again if voogru supported it though. =)
