Yes, the time has come to rekindle the flame (of discussion) as the creature creator has now been out for a little over a week and I just purchased it. Games release date is in a little under 2 months and I think we need to start sharing some creatures  .
Anyone else get the creature creator? It's really an unnecissary money-maker but hell, I'm hopped up on the need for spore and I need some more fix. For everyone else who doesnt feel like paying the $10 theres a free trial on their website that previews some of the stuff. Either way, cool shit.

I did a search, was it not created in the gaming forum? The only thread i found was the one about the release date and I felt that there should be a threa exclusively for this purpose. Meh, i tried.

The Spore creature creator is impressive. I'm buying the game when it comes out. If you look up Mencon or Menconi. That's my creatures so far. I didn't buy the full creature creator, so I only created a couple of creatures. A lot critics are saying the game is worth the wait. |

A little bump for anyone who has any interest in spore at all. For the next 3 or 4 weeks 1UP forums are hosting contests with different categories. Most of the prizes are meh but if you come in first you get a figurine of your creation (i could care less). The real win is if you get either first OR second, you get a free copy of the full game when it releases in 3 weeks.

Spore just went gold(master CD was created if you didn't know what gold meant)
The long-anticipated game from gaming luminary, Will Wright, is complete and in production. The wait is almost over! Spore will be available for the Mac and PC at retailers September 5 in Europe and September 7 in North America and Asia Pacific.
