so i'm not sure how long ago it opened up but the sign ups for closed beta is currently underway and i've registered in hopes of the long awaited game coming out sometime before move into a retirement home.

anyone else registered for beta or thinkin of playin the game? i've been scannin the site some more lately (here if you want it) and its lookin really good....im starting to go into mmorpg-remission

I registered for the beta eons ago, but I'm not too optimistic about getting selected. Bummer too, since the WoW beta was oh so much fun. If the pvp ends up being epic open-world large scale battles, I'll probably end up playing. Damn shame too, since I've been clean and sober from MMOs for about six months now .

If I get into the beta I'll give it a try, but I'm more looking forward to Age of Conan.

Yea I signed up for beta a long time ago as well but tbh I haven't been picked for any closed betas ever since WoW came out and expanded the MMORPG player base by 1000x or something.

couldnt agree more. been off of WoW for almost a year now but i still play FFXI about once a month (lolmoneywasted). Between the feigning for pvp and reading the WHO site lately, i wanna play that game so badly now (it better be hella good, cause it looks hella good)

me and my friends are definitely looking into playing that game, too! But I think Brawl is going to occupy much of my free time when it comes out in a few weeks heh.

hehe, i just cut myself off from playing WoW, though i still chat with my guildies through vent, most of us are pretty much tired of all the guild BS in WoW so we're looking forward to Warhammer Online

Seems like everyone else I signed up for the beta too. I'm psyched about the depth they've seemed to add to the MMO genre. They took alot of the ideas from other RPGs and really infused them into the game, especially the professions.

i like the fact that the entire game will be pvp no matter what, plus some events can be done every 15 minutes by anyone in the general area

can you answer this? how is the leveling system in warhammer online?

Very similar to any other MMO. You gain experience, and you advance in levels. The nice thing about WAR is you get experience from participating in RvR. So, the more people you kill, and objectives you take, the more xp you get.
