What Momaw said, Cold. If you haven't added the admins to your friends yet, there is a list of them here:

voogru - a half-life community

There is usually at least one online to take care of idiots.

It is annoying when people still shout 'Medic!' as they're being healed, but I don't stop healing for it... and I'm guilty of not noticing that I was being healed, or shouting just after a medic starts healing. Would suck to not get a full heal because of that, ya know? Seeing as how medic is my second most played class, I do try to say 'Thanks!' every time it's reasonable...

As soon as I take damage I hit E. I'm not going to lie. Once I hit E you have 5 seconds to heal me before I start crying about how bad of a medic you are.

But we do have some good medics here.

In dbs I always hit the Medic key whenever someone dies, it's just a reflex. I admit that I do useless taunts now and then (mostly 'sentry ahead', mostly because of the gesture). I hope it's not considered spam. I haven't heard anyone complaining to me so far, but I'll stop if that's the case

By the way, there are quite some people who start taunting whenever they are the last person on the team. Like saying 'thanks' every time a nuke comes towards them on hotnuke. I see the regular pro people doing that often too. But to be honest, I find it funny to watch. The relaxed pyro saying 'thanks' and giving thumbs up, while there's a nuke speeding towards him. It makes sitting out a little bit less boring. Just my opinion

Yeah, on the Speed Dodgeball server, I always do the "Thanks!" voice command when I kill someone. Hopefully, that's not spam, because I like giving people a thumbs up in their freezecam shot. And Cold, you are a good medic.

I'm going to pretend you didn't just use the word "pro" when talking about Pyro Dodgeball.

Only spamming less-than-pleasant voicemenu commands on DBS the server is annoying. Spamming: Repeated sessions with short duration and little hesitation. A "Thanks!" every now and then is completely tolerable. And yes, there are pro Pyro dodge ball players.

I like to crouch and flame in the air for my kill-cam. >

Yeah I definitely do use the voice commands a lot. Especially Thanks! and Go! Go! Go!
I'll cut down on that; I had no idea it bothered people. I always figured micspammers were the main problem, but you can actually mute them so I guess I understand the problem here.

"That Pyro is a spy!"

Well, I guess it'd be "Mrr mrrmrr mr mr MRR!"

That one gets me.

Thanks. And FYI, it's only in Dodgeball where this concerns me. In Crazy House it's really fun to call everyone a spy or shout cheers/jeers before the round starts. :3

im so srs about calling for medic i bound it to mouse5 ...and as playing medic i just turned on the health signs so i can see people who've taken damage so it really doesnt matter if they do or don't call for medic and i usually know their situation unless they're out of line-of-sight...thats the medic's job to target people and watch health..not sit there and only heal people that come out of the woodwork and call for medic in front of the medic's face like they are blind

That is the same thing I do. Now that you metion it, I do seem to do that a lot, and I will gladly try to cut back if it is annoying to anyone.

Not that i've been able to play at all lately anyways

I think a lot of people aren't getting my point. It's the people that *spam* "Medic!", "Incoming", "No.", or "Hudda hudda huh!" over and over for long periods of time. A bunch here and there can be quite funny. I'm talking about the few that spam "Medic!" for the entire map. Stuff like that.
