But make sure your PSU has a PCIe power connector on it . It's a 6 prong connector(well 3 in a row, 6 all together) This power supply should also be able to output at least 26A on the 12volt rail if you want it to be able to power your card comfortably.
I'd also recommend this if you don't have any handy. Arctic Silver 5 Compound (3.5g)
Here's the power requirements from Radeon for that card.
ATI Radeon HD 4850 System Requirements
o PCI Express® based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard
o 450 Watt or greater power supply with 75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express® power connector recommended (550 Watt and two 6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ technology in dual mode)
Remember that just because your psu can do 500 watts, doesn't mean you want it working at 500 all the time..

There's really only 2 brands you should consider for PSUs. Antec and OCZ. Course people will say that cheaper ones work fine. But psu's can and do fail.
