It has been like this since I installed steam.
When I click on "View Game info", in the play name in where all players and their scores are supposed to be shown, but in mine, it says, server is not responding.
Anyone know how to fix this? so annoying when I try to find out who's in a server.

Anyone know how to fix this? so annoying when I try to find out who's in a server. | I see this happening all of the time, both on my servers and other servers. If you refresh it enough it should eventually load.
I use HLSW ( HLSW :: Game server browser and administration tool) to view our servers from outside of the game fyi. |

It brings up list on other computers.
Mine NEVER did. Even though I refresh over and over, still does't appear.
There's gotta be something wrong.

This happens to me all the time. But, like voog, I usually just have to refresh (sometimes it can take about 10 attempts or more) in order for it to work. It's an annoying glitch, but I figure it's something I can live with. |

Its better to use a program like HLSW or Xfire to join the servers outside the game, especially if you have a reserved slot. Valve's server browser refuses to force connect to a server that is full. That and if you don't have the game running you have a small chance of a slot freeing by the time the game loads and tries to connect. That along with Steam's bad history of randomly clearing your server favorites/history/filters. There are a ton of "server browsers" out there. HLSW is really great and supports a lot of different games and can be configured to support third party mods.

There's gotta be something wrong. | Mine does the same thing, has for years. Even Half-life 1 based mods would do it, so do CS:S and DOD:S, every server I look at always shows Server is Not Responding. Good thing now is that I only connect to one of three servers which I can do through the console
