my machine is lacking in a few areas, but it's 90% gaming, so it does the job.

Still on the single-core DDR1 train. I'll hopefully get to upgrade to a quad-core DDR3 system soon as prices are dropping pretty quickly.

I was gonna get it but i read from a ton of people that the paint on the keys wear off after like a couple months

I have the same blue saitek keyboard, and I have literally had to RMA it through newegg no less than four times. Each one has a key or series of keys that simply die out, (try typing without a space bar, half your number keys, or your keypad) either immediately or after a week or two. I am on my fifth specimen and half of the keypad is already dead. If I didnt pay like 45 fucking dollars id say screw it and just throw it and not bother with the RMA crap

I'll tell you what, Vista is gunna come back and bite you. My nieghbor has it on his system (3ghz dual core, 2GB DDR3, etc.) and it runs like crap, can't play crysis for 10 min without crashing.

Yeah, my brother's went out not even 3 months of owning it. He returned it and got another free of charge (he got it locally). I know the Version 2's have problems with their T keys, but it seems V1 is a failure as well. I've had mine about 1.5 years, no problems, no paint chipping...knocking on wood.
