Default Not banned but question about it.

I noticed that in the log of people being banned, simply being a member of Team Roomba Steam Group (maybe you just like chatting with them or want group event notices?) will get you banned. However nothing in the server rules shows this as being a rule. What is the deal with this? Am I not allowed to join their Steam group for event notices or risk being banned from the server I play 99 percent of the time on?

Team ROOMBA supports griefing on servers they don't own. By getting those notices and being a part of their group, you are supporting those actions, and are just as guilty.

The TEAM ROOMBA group that is banned is an invite only group. I occasionally look through steam community groups and ban ones that are typically invite only that condone or encourage raging, griefing, cheating, or other activities that risk emptying or causing players to leave the server.

The same goes for myg0t and some other groups.

Or you're taking them too seriously. Yes the invite group condones griefing on other servers. They have a group for their server 2fort2furious in which they host karoke parties, team griefing (on their own server), most offensive sprays and the like. I like the notices for these because its on their own server and its just fun to do when everyone is aware of whats going on.

The 2fort2furious group, as far as I know, is not banned.

And I'll have to apologize, the fan group announcements are really quite enlightening.
