Re: Fallout 3 for $25 Worth it? Also, it's moddable to hell and back with tons of great(and some not so great) mods out there. So after you play through legitimately, you can change things up pretty hardcore, make things easier(coughweightlimitcough) or harder(ohgodthere'sfiftysupermutantsinthatroom&Iha venoexplosives) depending on your style ;p
Great for times when you either just wanna play/dick around alone, net's out(grrcomcast) or just like a good fps/RPG hybrid. There's a ton more to explore than you even realize at first too...my advice though is to NOT follow the storyline if you do get it, because unlike most rpgs, the storyline does NOT lead you around near sidequests, you miss out on SO MUCH if you only do the story quests.
Also, the Non-modified "ending" sucks. I don't wanna spoil it but jesus christ it was so terrible and anticlimatic(not to mention anti-logic if you found certain allies along the way) that that's the only major complaint about the game, terrible ending(Note: I've read they changed it in later expansions, but I haven't experienced it yet so I can't speak on that) |
