I agree with Drayth. There's really nothing you can do to fix it while keeping everyone happy. It's just what ends up happening when you have a community that knows each other, and knows who all the good players are. Chances are, all the regulars will try to join one side, while all the newbies will just join the other side because they don't have a clue about who the good players are. It's just something that we all have to deal with.
